Thank you to the staff at Titleist Canada for providing us with a great opportunity in the latest sweepstakes. From what I recall in the rules, the draw was to be held on the 14th of April. I really thought that this time I was going to get lucky and wind up as one of the Grand Prize winners of a year's supply of ProV1x Golf balls. So - I checked my emails over and over throughout the day, and sat by the phone waiting for that magical phone call. Much to my wife's dismay, I couldn't go out and rake the grass, or clean out the garage, or wash the car, or put up the gazebo, or hang the awnings even though the weather was perfect for that. I couldn't take the chance of missing that call :) Well - here it is Saturday the 16th and alas - it appears the call is not coming ! So - I guess I am going to have to go out and start working on all those spring chores that have piled up. Fortunately the weather is still nice out and the temperatures have warmed nicely. The courses in the area are opening one by one and the season will soon be in full swing. I will need that gazebo up so when I come back from my golf outings I can sit back with my wife, share a cold drink, and fill her in on how my Scotty Cameron putter was on it's game and my trusty Titleist 7 iron made that awesome shot:)
