816s higher flight, longer, more accuracy, with the right shaft. Have the Black Rogue in my 915h and the Fujikura Speeder Motore in the 816h at the recommendation of the tech rep. Find the 816 has better feel. It is a sweet club.

I have 3 of the 915 h's in my bag and think they are awesome hybrids.I have not hit the 816's but I can't imagine that they are much better than the 915's

I don't think you can go wrong with either, however, the 816H1 21* that is presently in my bag is one of, if not the best hybrid I have ever owned. And I have owned both the 910H and the 913H, in addition to many others. Though I have never played the 915H, I can't imagine it can be better than the 816H, or even as good. I'd pay the few extra bucks for an 816H.

The 816's are great too...

Make sure which ever way you go is that they are correctly fir to your swing.

Ok I have the complete 915 line up And I love theme. The only problem I had with the hybrid is that it made a whistle sound so I thought it was a defect. I went to the place I purchase the club trying to see if they all made the same sound and they did. Does not mean it performed bad just sounded bad. So when Titleist made the change after 1 season. I preordered the 816H and love it... So my advice is go 816 what you save in new price on the 915 you will get back in traid on the 816.

Steve, that scenario was also an option for me when I was in the market last June. I was lucky and able to find a store that had both heads and shaft that I was looking for and tried it side by side. Well, I took the 816 H1 confidently.
1. I like the heads in graphite gray in color instead of black, 2. It seems to fit my swing better and doesn't fly as high as the prior.

But fitting for your self is best, and you'd have to really see it for your self and see what effects/results it will give you. Make sure you are comparing them with the same shafts.

I've had a previous hybrid and thought I would never find anything that compares...but, I've forgotten everything about what I used to have since I've played the 816 H1. To me, it is that good.

I can't speak to the 915.

But I will say the 816 (I have 2) is the easiest club to hit of any category that I've ever tried.

It simply launches high and straight.

I have the 816H, and it's a beast..........I'd say get both in your hands, and hit them....

I have the 915 hybrid and love it. That being said I would go with latest that you can. Technology is always changing.

The 816 is more refined for MOI and has full degree adjustments instead of 0.75 degrees on the hosel. Can you still get fit for a 915 or do you have to buy off the rack left-over stock? If you can compare and get fit, if the 915 fits, get it. Hybrids are important in my mix, and I've seen improvement from 913 to 915 to 816.

For me they are night and day different! The 816's are definitely more forgiving and longer. I switched my 915 19 degree for a 816 21 degree and have had have noticed a huge difference in my shot pattern without any loss of distance. I would say its worth it in the long run to get the 816 over the 915.

I only have the 816s and I can tell you it's one of the easiest hybrid I've ever hit. HIGHLY recommend it but definitely get fitted for it.

816's to me have a better feel off the face. I can work the ball easier/better (left, right, up or down).

Hi Steve, I have both the 915H1 & 816H1 in 21*. Same shafts, length, grips & setup-A1. Both are great & the only reason I ended up getting the 816 was because my wife ran out of birthday ideas. To me, the differences are minimum and if I had never played with the 816 I would have been completely happy gaming the 915. After playing a couple of rounds with the 816 I noticed it was more forgiving & the ball jumped off the face hotter. On pure shots I picked up about 5yds, but the off center hits is where I really noticed the difference. Ball still gets out there & on target line.
