I have played many rounds with the Left Dash and couldn't be happier wiht it's performance. The ball is definitely firmer that the other Pro V1 models out there but the long game spin rate and the greenside performance suits my game ideally. I have never hit more fairways in a consistent manner.

I was fit for this ball when I had the ball fitting, in my opinion its amazing. Perfect spin in the long game, and great green side control. Its also very long for me. It is firmer than the other balls, but i like it.

I recently completed a ball fitting and was fit for a ProV1. The ball fitter also suggested I try the Left Dash. I'm going to take both out for a round to see how they perform side by side.

Switched to it a few months ago. Love the extra distance and while the feel is different, I got used to it quickly. Don’t really notice that much of a difference when it comes to stopping power, it drops and stops.

The Left Dash ball is longer by far! And just as good around the green. Straighter off the Driver is what I noticed most.

Boy, what a great selling job by that NBC golf analyst on commercials by a tire company. My Spy Golf does impartial ball testing of all common balls from major brands to DTC brands. They point out 2 truths across all balls. Lower compression models don’t go as far at any speed and a urethane cover is necessary to generate enough spin for drop and stop wedges into a green. …Also noting that groves on an old wedge don’t help.

My Golf Spy did clarify that their findings were "soft is slow, except when it reduces spin enough to increase total distance" but in the article the firmer the ball, the farther it went in most cases. I love left dash and won't be switching balls anytime soon unless left dot becomes more easily accessible in which case i'll do a test on my own.

I tested the left dash this weekend. Front nine with the V1 and back nine with the V1X Left Dash. The left dash gave me the drop and stop just like the V1. I didn't notice much difference in trajectory. What I did notice was the solid feel and sound at contact. I didn't measure the exact overall distance increase but it was noticeable. The left dash reminded me of the V1X from years earlier. Over the last two months or so I have tested the current V1, V1X, AVX, Tour Speed, and now the V1X Left Dash. Hands down: Left Dash is the overall winner!

I did the golf ball fitting and purchased 4 dozen Left dash for the price of 3. Previously, I was going back and forth between the AVX and ProV1x. Then somebody gave me a box of ProV1s a couple months ago. Well, I find the new ProV1 longer and great feel around the green. Now I still have boxes of AVX and Left Dashes still in my bedroom. All of my previous believes have gone out the window.

It's always interesting what a good fitting will reveal. I was initially fit to a ProV1x and now I play a ProV1...between fittings, I've made changes to my woods and irons. My guess is changes in equipment may influence how the ball performs.

Will Titleist revamp the ProV1 Left Dash for 2022? Before I purchase another couple dozen?

I put the -ProV1X into play this year and found it matched my swing, clubs and playing conditions the best.
I play in generally windy, firm and dry conditions so it keeps the spin in control on driver and long irons yet still stops on the greens on approaches.

In short, the Left Dash is a monster. I'm a high spin, high speed player so I think I'm in the target demographic. It just doesn't spin off the driver and it stops where it lands on the green. No crazy zip on full wedges. It still flies pretty high, so it's not the best ball in the lineup for the wind, but that's a minor trade-off for the rest of the all around performance.

Just completed a non scientific simulator comparison with my nine iron(t300) and -ProV1x and Pro V1x.

In Short I gained 10 yards, with the -Pro V1x (138 vs 128), Better ball speed (96.9 vs 90.9) Tighter dispersion and higher spin (7291 vs 7072) . Next I will compare the two with my driver(tsi3) and post the results as well.

-Pro V1x in my review is a keeper. I will however use the 4 dozen Reg Pro V1x I have b4 I put the Left dash in play

Have tested and played with the ball. It definitely has the POW and WOW factor. It meets all the criteria of a great performing premium golf ball. I find the distance and how straight it stays on target off the tee to be a key for me.
Once my stock of Prov1s is depleted with be moving to the left dash.

Love the left dash. Longer than Prov 1x little straighter and still has great control on the greens.

To follow up on my previous post, I took the -Pro V1x and the Pro V1x in to simulator with my TSi-3 Driver. Thought I would get the same results that I enjoyed with my nine iron. However , I am puzzled......The results are below:

Then, checking the impact tape, I was getting more heel hits than center hits SO I adjusted the settings to B-3 and used the Pro V1x (there wasn't any big difference with left dash from the A1 to the B3 setting)

Dispersion: 23 Yards

Tall player 6"4" with a naturally steep attack so I have a "spin" problem.

I play 2 balls Pro V1 and -Pro V1x. Which one I use depends on green conditions. Firmness/speed. Hitting a 7 iron into a back pin only to have the ball rip back 20ft just sends me up the wall. The Pro V1 has stopping power for zippy greens -Pro V1x for normal play. Everything goes when you hit it with a driver. It's shots into the green I care about.
