  1. I’ve played with srxn z and q star family for 5 yrs. I need help deciding on which ball would be the best one between Pro V1 and Pro V1x that plays similar to the Srixons that I’ve played with.

I would do either the ball selection tool on this site or sign up for a Virtual Ball Fitting which can be done through this site as well. Both will give you a solid starting point to go buy a sleeve of a few balls 7 see hw they work for yourself first hand without spending tons of money on the wrong ball.

I have gone from the DT (13 years ago) to NXT's and now have played the Pro V1 for the last 8 years.

I have done the virtual fitting and it is a wonderful tool

I’d recommend using the virtual ball fitting. I have previously done this and found it be extremely helpful. The consultant helped walk me through the various ball options and narrow it down to 2 options that suited my game and what I was looking for in a ball. As an added bonus Titleist will send you 2 pack samples of the balls that are recommend.

Give it a shot and let us know about your experience.

SXN borrows the Titleist nomenclature. Z and ZX compare to V and X in that the ZX is firmer than the Z. You’d need to try both Titleist balls for your “window”, feel, and control around the greens.

Prior to the optic Pro-V products, I never felt the optic Q products responded as well as the V products on distance and control around the greens.

My current problem is with the Left Dot Pro-V1. If they continue it, it will most certainly not come in optic yellow. Otherwise, I like it best.

Great advice above as usual on this forum. Last summer I tried the Prov1x after playing the Prov1 for years. I liked the Prov1x as I noticed more spin around the greens and on partial wedge shots.

So i played a few 9 hole twilight rounds where I played both balls from the same spot (tee shots, fairway, around the green) to see how they worked for me on the course. In addition to more spin, I got a little higher ball flight off the longer clubs with the Prov1x which I liked. Not much of a difference for me on the middle and short irons between the two balls. More spin on partial shots with wedges.

For me personally, the Prov1x was the better option. The only thing I did not like was the feel of the driver at first. It is a firmer ball, but I got used to that pretty quickly.

So narrow it down to a couple of options and test them on the course.
  9. Tyler H. Thanks for the information about Titleist ball fitting and everyone that help me in going in the right direction in finding the right ball. Yes I got down to one ball Pro-V1x as recommended towards my golf game and what I am looking for. So thanks to all that help and thanks to teamTitleist for helping Fitting me with the right ball.
  10. What did the ball selector say for you. I used to uses a z star and want to pro v 1 but thinking of going to pro v1x.
