    I have checked several places, and the prior generation AVX are the same price as the new ones. Seems odd. Anyone have an idea why the older ones are not discounted?

    Golf balls seem to be pretty hard to come by right now. Could be supply and demand. Just a wild guess, but seems to reason.

    You very rarely see top brand golf balls discounted.
    Buy 3 dozen get 1 dozen free happens a lot with Titleist.
    They also give free personalisation in the deal. ️‍♂️

    Even older versions of balls and clubs are restricted to vendor pricing.
    Typically Titleist will remove prior editions and add in new inventory. Maybe there are inventory issues to pull the old stock. Neither my local pro shop or the closest Dick’s had any AVX balls at the end of last season.

    Stores are not allowed to discount any Titleist products unless Titleist approves and allows it across the board. It will probably happen eventually but with limited supplies and high demand, could be a while.
