    Good day all,

Growing up, there was a belief that logo balls were inferior to normal golf balls. My company gave me a stipend so that I could purchase merchandise with our company logo. I naturally went to the golf section and got a couple dozen Pro V1x’s. I have used maybe a sleeve, but the vast majority are still sitting in my garage after over a year because I still feel like logo balls are a lower quality product.

I ask the group, is there any difference in quality between logo balls and non-logo balls?

    Thanks,

Absolutely not! Same quality and come from the same factory. They just print the logo at the end of the process. Maybe that rumor happened as you occasionally see "logo overruns" on sale by a few companies. That is just left over inventory that the company or golf club did not take and naturally most people do not want someone else's logo so they discount to get them sold. If you purchase balls on line from Titleist there normally is an "up-charge" for the service so why would anyone think that is now an inferior ball? BTW, I think they are running a nice Christmas deal where the customization is free. Not sure how long that deal lasts.

The golf shop I buy from has PV1 and PV1x brand new logo balls, brand new from the Titleist Rep. $35.oo doz. There's absolutely no different then non Logo balls.
I think they are just left overs from the orders, Titleist filled. No need to toss them out, when you can sell them.

Thanks Dale, I guess I just prefer a “clean ball” as opposed to the somewhat loud logos that were out there when I was growing up. I will still use the logo balls if I am running low and replacements have not arrived yet or I play golf with my manager…

Me too. I putt with the "all white" side facing up. I keep the model sight line under. I feel like it keeps me more focused on the clubhead alignment without any distractions but I understand why sightlines work for a lot of people.

Depends on the ball used. First Tee gets sleeves of logo balls from me not because the ball is inferior in quality from its brethren but because the sponsor was only willing to use an inexpensive “rock” to add their logo. You know the type - the box of 15 for $12.99.

Rarely do I see a logo on a tour level urethane ball. But when it is a Titleist Pro-V, it’s a keeper. For example, Streamsong had logo Pro-V1x sleeves in the room. No questions asked.
  7. I have some Prov1s logo balls from a previous employer. Its good motivation for a few extra yards off the tee.

As long as its a PROV1x I'll play it with a logo on it.

That will make you hit them just that bit harder...

I use Logo Balls only to collect them , like from Golf Courses
