Major browning on irons

    I'm thinking about purchasing a used set of forged irons and they have major browning. Will this effect the clubs performance? Looks, I'm not concerned with. They are almost a steal!!!

    Run finger nail down grooves if it still catches each groove and fairly deep then you are fine. Its when its worn smooth that there basically worn out
