I dont know what i was thinking this year. I tried a set of Mizunos this summer and I absolutely hate them. Just got back on the Titleist train and ordered me a set of AP1’s yesterday. Have not got them yet, but I feel better allready.

I have a 42* RM21 as a 9 iron replacement (it has DG Wedgeflex). The lofts on my remaining wedges are 48-56-64. Between 2008-2011, I played a set of DIY irons and the gap between the PW and SW was 8* (47 and 55) so I learned how to work the PW; my two LW were 58 and 64.

52 just never has been added value for me.

At one time I had 46-50-54-58-62. Too confusing. I fare better using a 50-08 bent to 48 (shorter shaft vs a 48-08 and heavier swingweight plus bending to 48 is lower bounce). The 56-08M makes the sand game and pitching/chipping simple. With a 64 you either hit a full swing or half swing on either square or open.

AP3 PW, AP3 gap wedge, SM7 Vokeys -- 52, 56, & 60 degree. Yea, I really love the short game......

I ordered the AP2 50* bent to 49 with the same shaft as my AP3 set, and then have the SM7 54* M grind and the SM7 58* D grind.
