  1. I've been playing with titleist clubs for the last 15 years and one thing I notice as my son is coming to the age to play the game and hopefully become competitive down the road is that Titleist is one of the only brands that doesn't offer youth golf sets. With deep brand reputation, I feel this is a complete miss!

  2. A good reason for youngsters to eat their vegetables and grow into a set! Titleist does not seem to be concerned with offering in every segment. Many of the firms who attempt to gain a market share in every segment, gain area at the expense of depth; regarding premium quality and brand image.

Titleist did market a youth set for a while, in the late 90's-early 2000's, I believe (sorry, the model name escapes me). Surely there must be one available used someplace. That's an option.
I believe Knight is part if the Acushnet family, and they do make youth sets, although they may not be comparable in quality to what you're trying to accomplish.
Another option would be to find an older Titleist set suitable for game improvement, and shorten the shafts. The old DCI's come to mind. That would probably produce a better product than what's on the market.
    Good luck.

Look to Companies like U.S. Kids and Flynn Golf for junior clubs.
My son 9 plays U.S. Kids Tour Series irons & I have built him a Cobra Driver and Hybrid. Titleist does have young junior options that I know of. I would think if you had a teenage junior player that was ranked in the top 25 nationally Titleist would love to get them into the right gear.

Titleist does have a list of fitters that specialize in working with junior golfers. It was posted sometime this year. Obviously this won't include 27 inch drivers.

It can be debated if specialized sets are better than standard equipment specially fitted. Titleist is better at the latter.

Hi J, As Don said, we offer clubs that are the same quality for the shorter junior player. Typically, that is a young junior that has been playing and ready to move into "adult" heads. That being said, Jordan played Titleist when he was quite a bit younger and we do make all our clubs 4" shorter than standard, so, for example, the shortest driver we will build is 41". The heads and shafts on all these clubs are the same high quality you will find on the tour or in our pro shops and retailers. We have fitters that specialize in junior fittings and you can find them here: www.titleist.com/.../youth-golfer
If there is not a fitter near you that specializes in these youth fittings, give us a call at 888-TITLEIST.
  7. I recently came into possession of a few Junior DCI 5 irons.
There are stampings on each as follows...
    Black RH 37.75 58* ST-S
    Black LH 37.75 60* ST-S
    *Black RH 38.25 60* ST-S
    Black RH 38.25 62* ST-R
    Gold RH 38.75 62* ST-R
*The 38.25 stamping are not the length of the club, as this club is 27.5".
Any information on these will be appreciated.
    Thank you.
