I would agree, my AP3's are solid! Albeit, I have an AP2/AP3 combo set. Very forgiving!

Phil - that just about the same results as me with only 5 rounds on the AP3. I shot an 84 (scores like that destroy a 22 hcp) already and can't wait to get some days over 50 to see what happens with consistent play. Maybe the 2018 shafts have magic - I can't explain the improvement over my 716s.
But ain't it great!!

Congrats on a solid round and cheers to enjoying the game even further. I have found that getting the correct equipment fit to you and your swing is the easiest way to improve your game. I know that when I got my AP1's and AP2's combo my ball flight improved and more than anything my confidence grew while I was over the ball. The 6" between the ears seemed to get figured out. Once again, cheers to the great round and here's to many more.

Very Cool Phil. I love my AP3's as well and they have made a huge change in my game. Not just making the scores more consistent but adding confidence to my game. A "technology refresh" with a proper fitting has really helped me enjoy playing more golf.

I have had two sets of AP2, 710 and 712, and am now playing the 718 AP3. From P through 5, the forged club feels the same to me as the cast club feels. Beginning with the 4 and especially with the 3, at impact instead of the "tick" sound with the AP2, there is a "tack" sound with the AP3. Sound feedback is very important to me. My hands do not sense a difference at impact between the AP2 vs AP3. However, the latter being a tad more forgiving translates into confidence at address which instills mental relaxation, thus a better time on the course even if there is not a profound score improvement.
