Last year was the end of the Newport 2 Notchback putters and they are favorite. I bought the black notchback when it first previewed and it is looking pretty ratty from fading, but I love the lookand she putts pretty darn well. I have been looking for last year's model and my guardian angel dropped one in my lap this afternoon. So looking forward to puting in into play. Our course is closed on Friday and Saturday for the annual City of Charleston Women's Amateur Championships. When I got home tonight from working a member/guest at Debordieu Golf Club in Georgetown there was a message from one of my buddies about playing at Dunes West Golf Club in Mt Pleasant on Saturday. Would be an excellent course to give it a go in that they have excellent greens. Need to get in some strokes before I head up to Myrtle Beach for our little TT get together on Thursday, next week with David, Gary and Keith at Barefort Resort.

Chuck, I am the same way, love the Notchback because I like the blade look with very little toe hang!! I have the black select 2014 model, but like my putters the chrome look!! To send in to get refinished to chrome is $290, no thanks!!

I would have loved if they made one in the Cameron and Crown because 33” is what fits me since I was fitted at Cool Clubs in Scottsdale in 2012!!

I bounce back and forth from the Notchback to my 2.7 face balanced blade Scotty!! Good luck and hope you enjoy it!!

I now have in my very limited Scotty collection with my black notchback in a 35", the chrome 2017 in a 34" (going with that length for a while and see if that might just make a few more putts), and a 35" plumber neck Newport 2.....all weighted at 15 gms except the regular Newport 2 which is a standard 10 gm.....they feel and look so similar to what I learned to putt with (png Pal 4 BeCu putter but it was much lighter) when I started playing in 1985.....and I still have it......just could not let it go even though I do not use it anymore......

Chuck, just hang onto the BeCu putter for a few more years. I still have the png Answer and Acushnet Bullseye STD M-5-S putters that I purchased in 1968. Still use them occasionally to switch up my putting and get back on track.

T - I have that Rueter putter also. Has the original leather grip on it. Do not save many putters, but these two old timers I am holding on to.....
