Just seen the email blast about the new TS2 and TS3 drivers? Just keen to know everyone's initial impression of them?

Ha, ha Larry. Wouldn't we all. I wouldn't camp by the mailbox any time soon. Titleist is a great company but I think there's a big difference in sending us the occasional test sleeve of balls and a $500 driver. I would expect some pre-sales testing availability via Titleist Thursday's like they did when introducing the 718 series irons. I'll be ready for that.

I was lucky enough to get to hit both the TS2/TS3, in various configurations. It was part of a Team Titleist event they ran during the Travelers Championship in CT back in late June.

I was coming off of a 909D2 and the difference was immediate and noticeable. Felt as if I gained 10+ yards off the tee and mis-hits were less offline. Gained some real quick confidence off the tee. The TS3 has the surefit system while the TS2 only the shaft angle can be tweaked. Both sharp looking clubs. Stock shafts were not your economy shafts either. They’d be upgrades for any other driver model of there today.

I felt I hit the TS2 better, but it could have been in the setup.

Planning on getting fit as soon as possible. Really appreciated the chance to hit the club. Especially for just being your average golfer.

They definitely have a good look, I like the black color. Can't wait to try them out, I definitely need to upgrade the driver sometime, this might be the year.

Classic clean look. I'm excited to hear more about them, including what the TS stands for. Totally Styling?
  11. I’ve always been a TM driver guy but this iteration of Titleists drivers has me feeling I might make a switch this year. Initial thoughts? Very sleek and liking the change in the name!

They look pretty good in the photo. I also notice that there appears to be divergent technology being used in these drivers -- the TS3 seems to have the rear mounted weighting system similar to the 917 Drivers while the TS2 appears to have the older, rear mounted weighting system similar to the 915 Drivers.

This is the year that I am looking to swap out my driver for a newer one so I am watching these with some anticipation and eagerness!

It looks to be 2 options, more customizable vs more forgiving. The TS2 looks be more forgiving, and, less complex to make, I hope it gets a more consumer friendly price.

The TS2 and TS3 no longer use the same weight system to each other. That's different from all the previous 910+ releases. I wonder how that will work out depending on how much draw/fade one might need. Of course, until we know more about size (460 vs. 440) and launching, we won't know who the intended audience is for either version.

On the hunt for a new driver. My old 975D works, but why not I guess.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "depending on how much draw/fade one might need" ?

Do you mean to compensate for a tendency to hook or slice all the time? Does that even work?

My own thoughts on drivers and adjustment gimmicks:
Wish the new driver heads could stay smaller and simpler and just have loft adjust.

Leave fading and drawing up to the players choice of swing

Can't choose a swing path? Get creative and practice

  17. Hope to get a chance to test it soon!!

They definitely look slick, less traditional on the sole but classic Titleist on the crown, also interested that the active recoil channel has been removed, can't wait to see the big pros #sendit

Cannot wait to get my hands on these!!! Ready to upgrade my 917 D3. Really hoping for a summer launch and not October/November when it gets cold.

I love the looks of them! Debatable whether they're better looking than the 917's personally but I know they'll grow on me. I can't wait to test one out and most likely get one fit and in the bag!!
