    So I gave the AP3s a valiant try and while there may be nothing wrong with them, the space between my ears has prompted to go back to what I know which is the AP2s. I have played AP2s since their inception and always been a big advocate of them to any and everyone. When the AP3s were released I was elated at the opportunity for more distance and forgiveness. I guess at the end of the day, I just wasn't comfortable. I know what I can and can't do with the AP2s and I am confident that I will love them as I always have. Wish me luck TT.

    I agree. It's hard to beat the ap2 irons. I have been gaming the 714s for 3 years now and they are just incredibly solid irons that also look fantastic. My backup set are the original 710 ap2 that are also very solid.

    ...It's all about the journey. Nothing wrong with staying with the AP2 if you are comfortable controlling them. More distance isn't always the goal with irons. Hitting a fade to clear a tree and land on the green beats being able to miss the side of the green longer. In my case, I wouldn't be as successful with the AP2, but Titleist has irons that do work well for me. Enjoy.

    I’m in the same position brother. I have the AP3’s in my 5/6 iron and AP2s 7-GW. I was looking for the same that you were looking for in the AP3s. But I have decided to go back to what works best for me. The AP2s are just solid in every way, shape, and form.

    Ap3 was a weird addition to lineup imho ap2 are tight I played titleist for 20 years and still have a few sets of AP2. Until pxg came out now my gamers ap2 second my mizunos third
