I know this is a Japanese club (VG3) but was wanting to know if 1. there is a tour version of it? and 2 if it would have serial numbers on it? from everything I have ever seen with Titleist all their clubs have serial numbers but since it is Japanese i'm not sure...

    Thanks for the help

    Hi Trent,

I have been playing the VG3 irons for he last 3 years. Fantastic irons, long and forgiving. There are soft feeling, but not like Miuras. I am sure you will find them as a great addition to your bag. However, I do not believe there is a Tour Version of the VG3.

As for serial #s, yes, mine have their ID on the hosel.

    Be blessed,
    TK

Gentlemen, retired Titleist Staff member of some 25+ years with the company as GM of TPC Scottsdale. Still play a lot and still play the good stuff. I have the opportunity to but a set of 2016 VG3 irons with a VGl shaft. I know am playing the AP1 with Nippon 950 S. How does this club compare in looks and playability and what is this shaft like? Is the blade as long as the AP1, does it have a thinner top line. How does the offset compare? I have seen pictures and they look good and love the fact that they are forged. Thanks Bill Grove
