Isn't that a 4W or 5W? For most amateurs, a high launching 3W is an oxymoron.

Much will depend on your swing, but a 15 degree 3W is likely going to require a decent amount of swing speed AND a shaft designed to launch higher, like a Tensei Red. You might want to consider a 16.5* 3W (which is similar to a 4W in loft, but with a 3W-length shaft.) Heads that have the weight concentrated lower in the head will contribute to higher launch as well. The TS2 will likely be more preferable than the TS3, in theory anyway. Fitting will prove it out.

I generally hit a low ball and just recently went through a fairway fitting to replace my 913 15*. It was a becoming the weak link in my long game and I really had to work hard to do what I wanted. Ultimately, the shaft was just not a great fit for me. I found myself going to my hybrid in most situations because I have such confidence in that club.

    My primary goals were to
1.) fill the gap between my 915 2 hybrid and TS2 driver and
    2.) increase ball launch height.

I hit several options and the TS2 16.5 @ 42.5" was exactly what I was looking for. I found the 16.5 to be very easy to launch off the deck and great off the tee as well. Having a great fitter that paid attention to my goals was absolutely key. I now have a combo that I can rely on as much as I do my hybrid.

just ordered a 16.5 TS2. I fly it further than the average 3 wood carry with a tighter dispersion. I've actually gone to -1/2" so it plays more to 4 wood specs but it's all about how it plays not the number on the bottom!!
