I absolutely love the dark finish on the crown of my TS metals. I like it a lot better then the grey finish on my old 917’s. However, I always seem to get smudges or finger prints on the crown of my TS metals. It’s more noticeable now on the darker finish. Just curious to hear what you guys do to clean or polish the crowns of your drivers. I really don’t want to use anything that might scratch it. Is there a preferred type of cloth or towel that works best? Do you use water or a polish? Any pro tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I like my driver to shine and keep a good coat of wax after every few rounds. It's easy to keep clean in between with a damp towel. It's a little over the top, but, I use the same formula Zymol that I bought for my SL550. However, I'm sure any good car wax will do much the same.

A quick wash and dry takes any marks off of the driver.
But now you’ve got me thinking wax or even better a ceramic coat mmm
    Watch this space haha
  4. I find a good wash with soap, soft brush and hot water then dried with a soft towel produces a nice clean head with a good shine on TS2.

I always wax my woods when they are new.and about once a month after that. I just use good quality auto wax.

Thanks for the input so far guys. 1 question...does adding wax add any significant weight to the clubhead? possibly throw off the swing weight of the club?

Very little residual is left after buffing with good quality wax. I doubt it would have any weight value at all.

I finally got round to cleaning my TS2 driver and ts 3 wood, they both had a few light scratches on top.
I washed it in warm soapy water first,
then with my das pro 6 polisher, I gave it a light going over with Wolfgang scratch remover with a yellow chemical guys hex pro pad. Cleaned that off then coated it with Fusso king of gloss wax.
    Very happy with the results

Never heard of polishing the heads with car wax, but thank you for the tips.
