New irons

    So lately I have been thinking about getting a new set of irons. Last set I bought was the 714 AP1, and was really happy with them. Somebody mentioned that I should look at the new CP-01 irons coming out. Did a little research, and I was SHOCKED to read that they will be around $500 per each!!! The claim was that Titleist feels there is a market out there for $500 irons. I don't know what market that is, but I am quite sure I will not be a part of it. $500 per iron, and in 2 or 3 years they are outdated. Tell me you're kidding!!!

    If you've been happy using AP1's and you are thinking changing, you need to get to a Titleist Thursday event or your nearest reliable fitter. There are a range of options - all significantly less expensive - before you reach for the CNCPT line.
    Yes CNCPT are very expensive but I suspect that they demonstrate R&D showing what is possible when not constrained in any way.
    Think that the "somebody" who mentioned the CNCPT was pulling your leg a bit!!
