I had the 917 D2. Good driver and I did well with it. I had a png G30 that I would use when the ball just wouldn't find the center of the clubface. Unbelievably forgiving, the png, but I hated the sound, (Like breaking dishes.), and it just didn't seem like it could give you that extra little bit when you might need to reach for it. Loyal Titleist user, and everything in the bag was Titleist, except that png that hung around. Picked up the TS2 last fall just before leaving for a trip to Myrtle Beach. To me, it is the BEST Titleist driver I've ever had, AND I can't think of anything that I've hit that is any better, ever. I find it as forgiving as the png was, as I still get near max yardage on heal or toe hits with it. The flight is great, and can be flighted down easily in windy conditions. Give the TS line a try and get fit. I'm confident you won't be disappointed by it. My intention is not to insult the other Manufacturer, it was a fine club. The TS2 I've found is better and everything I wanted in a trusted driver. The old png isn't even in the trunk anymore. Not needed
