    What is a Titleist AP1 48? It equates to what iron?

    A 1999 pitching wedge. Now that the PW is 43 degrees, that's a huge gap to a 54 degree sand wedge.

    Great little wedge for me , My 110 -100 club deadly accurate replaced my vokey 48 * Great for chippy around the green .

    Mike,

    There are two different lofted 718 AP1 gap wedges available. One is 48 degrees and the other is 53 degrees. I believe you are referring to the 48 degree gap wedge.
