Does anyone have additional infornation about the 2 new drivers Titleist is releasing this fall? Read about the TS1 being more forgiving and the TS4 for lower spin on some sites but can't seem to find anything about specs and release date.

There are no new drivers being released this fall. The TS2 & TS3 were released last fall and the TS4 is scheduled to hit shops sometime in June. If you go to the CLUBS option on the main menu you will find selections for all three of the TS model drivers with information about each. To see the specs, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Titleist Custom Options.

  5. wrong new TS1 just anounced.
  6. Hey Angie,

The Ts2 is the more forgiving driver, the Ts3 is for people who tend the shape shots, and TS4 will be the low spinning option. Ts2 and TS3 are available now with tons of reviews online. I spoke with my local Titleist rep and the anticipated launch date for TS4 is June 27th. Hope this helps!

I play the TS2 and love it. Hit the TS 4 today and it is far less forgiving. Spoke with Titleist rep I know and his experience so far is dispersion is a challenge when fitting anyone with this club. I hit about 25 balls with it. The ones absolutely flushed felt great and had a great trajectory. The misses were all over the yard. Loved the way it looks at address but for me no way the 4 beats the 2.
  11. just at a demo day in ohio and hit a TS1
  12. A TS1? What was the difference between this and the TS2, TS3, and TS4? I'm very interested as my driving is my weakest part of my game....

Heard it's going to be the most forgiving of all the Titleist lineup. Higher spinning and higher launching than the TS2.

Lighter weight, slightly longer stock shaft.

    TS2 - majority of players
TS3 - more penetrating flight, smaller face, easier to adjust flight, tends for the better skilled
TS4 - when unable to keep spin rates down with even the TS3
TS1 - lighter weight, potential for more head speed for moderate or lower swing speeds.

I was excited with the results from the TS2, but at under 90 mph club head speed, will have to have a go to see if the TS1 can gain me another 8-10 yards. Lightweight head and a series of shafts in the 35-45 g range. Looks to be 30-40 g lighter than the stock TS2.

Found this image off of Jak Lee Golf on youtube. He states he teaches out of the U.K. Guess we will see if the image is true soon.

Nothing new on Titleist University for the TS1 and TS4. I see that the TS1 is currently available for shipping in the order system though.

I stand corrected! Wow, what an unusual introduction for a Titleist driver. Not the normal cycle. It makes me wonder what are the head weights of the TS2 & TS3.

Not sure this makes any sense. A lite-weight club head results in changing swing weight. Swing weight can easily be adjusted by counter balancing. Notice the shaft got longer than standard Titleist drivers to 45.75 inches. This was done to increase the swing weight and make claims for longer distance. Very few PGA Pro have a driver longer than 45 inches, many of them are less than 45 because the longer the shaft the harder to control (hit fairways). I think this new driver is to compete with Cobra which is the hottest driver for average golfers.....

I wish TS 1 and 4 were around when I was getting fit for the TS2. Don't get me wrong, I love the TS2, but would have liked to give the others a shot. I'm not a long ball hitter by any means, but I hit it straight, and would love something that reduces spin or provides a little more distance (who doesn't want more distance?)
I hope Titleist doesn't mess with the two year release cycle.

The shaft options were super lite for the TS1 announcement from Titleist, I use a 75g stiff shaft and the heaviest I saw on there was 45g.

Check out the TGW.com website. A couple good videos explaining the features of the new TS1/TS4 . They also indicate the type of golfer these new clubs will target.

    This TS line is awesome.

TS1 I is lighter and I think better for lower swing speeds.
