  1. I am in the market for a new set of irons and was hoping to get some perspective on how the 718 T-MB compares to the CNCPT 02 set of irons.

    - Is one more forgiving than the other? - Does one generate more distance or spin?

I am a high single digit handicap, who appreciates the traditional blade shape, but could use something slightly more forgiving than the pure blade MB irons.

A club pro I know very well has CENCPT 3 and 4 iron in the bag. He plays TMB long irons before and told me that these are the most forgiving and longest iron. The U510 comes close tho that.
  3. I am a 65 yo single digit, driver swing speed 85-90. I’ve been playing cncpt-2 for a few months now. They are the absolute finest irons I have ever played. I’ve played miura, pxg (all models), miz , epics
They are longer than all, blade like to look at, but very forgiving
    Have kBS graphite 50 gms
  4. Thanks Paul, I appreciate the positive feedback on the CNCPT 2.

I have been playing a full set of 718 T-MB's for about a year and 1/2 now. I carry a 10 handicap although i have posted numerous times about what that "doesn't" mean in terms of ball striking so don't take that into consideration. When I went for my fitting I thought I was going to be in the AP1 or AP3. Ended up with T-MB for the same reason, I love the blade look, smaller sole, and less offset that most game improvement clubs. I also need as much help as possible with height so these have me the highest launch and best ball flight. I definitely recommend hitting both before you decide. Good luck and I'm sure you will end up with the set that fits you best.
  6. I just posted about this. Should show up once the administer approved them. I have played TMBs for a few years now but recently bought CNCPT01s. These are the best irons I have ever played.
