    Hey TT!

I would love to get your input on these two heads. I’m getting fit this week and currently game a 8.5* 917 D2 with a x stiff white board shaft that I tipped an inch and a half. I swing on average 128mph and hot about 50% of fairways and play a 7 handicap.

Is the TS4 much harder to keep in the fairway or not? From the YouTube reviews I have watched it doesn’t seem like a big difference other than spin and head size which I’m trying to lower my spin as well, your thoughts and reviews are appreciated!

    Hit em straight,

Jake, I've hit the TS3, but not the 4. I liked the numbers generate by the TS3 but the TS4 is more appealing to me in terms of head shape and size (I still play a 910 D3 because it has a relatively small head). The only problem is I can't generate enough speed to keep the ball in the air off a club with low spin like the TS4. I've mentioned a couple times in this forum that I've read that the TS4 has very little spin. The problem with that is unless you can generate enough club head speed, the ball comes off the face like a knuckle ball.

That said, at 128mph my comments obviously don't apply to you. Looks like you could hit either head. I'd choose the one that visually appeals to you, which should lead to more confidence.

    Good luck.

Jake, I was fit for a TS4. I tried both at the fitting and the spin is the biggest difference by far. The forgiveness is about the same I would say. I didn't notice a big difference between the two, in fact my dispersion was tighter with the 4. The TS4 is a modern 905T (my favourite driver). The look is a lot cleaner and the ball takes off with little to no spin. Prior to the 4 I was struggling to get my spin down to around 2100, now I'm easily there in fact some of them were even lower. The only downside to the 4 is that the mishits do not travel as well. So if you pure it (or close enough to it) consistently you shouldn't have a problem with the 4.
