Waiting on irons / introducing myself

    Hi all,

    Delighted to get fitted at American golf Glenrothes for a set of ap2's (and a vokey 50 degree wedge) on the 21/08.

    They said at the time to expect them within 10-14 days. Well this is 14 days now and they can't give me any indication as to when I should expect them now, which is a bit frustrating.

    I wondered if maybe I could check on this myself with titleist direct but they can't give me any info without a PO number and American gold can't give me that!

    I wondered if anyone could help me to get some indication as to who I can contact to help, or how long to wait?

    Thanks in advance - just impatient to get my hands on them, wanted the ap2's for a loooonnnggggg time

    Welcome, Mark. Up until my most recent fitting, I have received every order within the 10-14 day window. I was fitted on 8/15 and my pro shop placed my order somewhere between 8/16 and 8/21. My pro shop inquired with Titleist this morning and they were told that the grips I specified were back ordered and only just received today (it is a shame I didn't know this as I would have just gone with another grip). My clubs will apparently be built in the next 3-5 days and ship immediately thereafter. The best way for you figure out the status is to go through the place you ordered from. I feel your pain with the waiting game but I'm sure our clubs will be well worth the wait.

    Placed my order on Monday 2nd Sep for a set of T200's hopefully they will be in my bag within 10 to 14 days.

    welcome!! i ordered a ts2 driver with midsize grip and had it within 4 days, i ordered a newport 2 with large matador grip and would of ended up waiting over a month if i didnt call titleist myself to have them tell me the only reason it was delayed was the newport 2 heads were on backorder. they sent me a stock newport 2 and the large grip came seperate, had my local shop put it on. Just received my t100 irons with project x lz shafts and midsize grips took 10 days

    Welcome Mark, with all the new releases I think Titleist have there work cut out.
