New drivers don't automatically straighten out our errant drives. Rather than going out and spending $500 on a new driver, I would suggest getting a couple lessons to see if that can help with tee shot direction & distance. Once you have your current driver under control consistently then consider purchasing a new one...but make sure to go through a fitting for the new one.

Take confidence in the fitting process, AND, the technology behind the TS2. When I first got mine many months ago, I posted that I felt it was the most forgiving Titleist driver I'd ever used. Titleist was usually more known for "players" clubs that maybe you weren't supposed to NEED forgiveness. Well I feel vindicated by the lasted articles posted about the drivers, and the TS2 came in a close second to Mr. Karsten's driver in forgiveness on off-center hits. It also scored well in all the other categories based on swing speeds. I had one of Mr. Karten's drivers like Bubba used for a few years and would retreat back to it when the swing wasn't cooperating because it was so forgiving. It hasn't see the light of day in near a year now since I got the TS2. No need. I think you'll agree when you get fit.

Gerry, I think you should go to a Titleist fitter (maybe Titleist Thursday event?) and leave any preconceived ideas at home. Talk about how things feel and how the flight looks. Let the fitter figure out what works best for you. Let the data from Trackman support what you are feeling and seeing. I thought I would have got fit into a TS2 and I was put into a TS3. I love it. I am so much more accurate off the tee and I gained distance. You can try shorter, heavier, lighter, stiff, etc..... shaft options and different weights to adjust swing weight. The Fitter, data and what you feel and see in your shots will tell you what to get. Good Luck!
