Agree. Keep it simple and it does not ruin you clubs. Those cleaners are what keep manufacturers in business. With respect to the first comment. Keep a damp towel on your bag when you are playing and wipe you clubs down when you are finished.

Titleist has recommended to not soak any of the AP/T heads at all as water can seep into the enclosed areas and damage the heads. Even solid heads like MBs/Vokey wedges should not be soaked as deep as the hosel for the same moisture damage reason. An old toothbrush at the most for the groves, otherwise a dampened cloth will do just fine.

I use Bar Keepers Friend a lot, but NOT on my clubs. Like Zak pointed out, soap and water and a decent brush should do the trick!

I agree.

A little windex and a nail brush does the trick for me. I usually try to stay away from abrasive cleaners that will dull the finish. Ocassioanally I will use a little wax on the woods to keep them shinny.

Just warm water and perhaps a little soap and a soft bristle brush and good soft golf towel.

Titleist drivers, fairways, hybrids, irons and wedges can be cleaned with mild soap and water and then dried with a soft cotton cloth. We recommend your clubs and headcover be completely dry before storage. Storing clubs in wet headcovers can lead to rust and corrosion and may not be covered by the warranty.

I used to always had a toothbrush hanging off my bag, but finding the old style now, and especially one that might have a hole in the end to put a clip through is next to impossible. I cringe at seeing folks having those stainless steel or brass bristled brushes on their bags that can scratch your clubs, especially forged. Lately I've resorted to using what I think is either a finger cleaning brush or maybe a denture brush, that I found at the grocery store, soft bristle, about 3" long and is use it to clean the club after each shot and when they need a good cleaning at home every so often with just dish soap in water. In, out, scrub, dry, back in the bag.

Some warm water and hand soap does the trick on my clubs and grips!

I use the Frogger brushpro. It comes with replaceable brush heads and it clips to your bag with a retractable lanyard. Works like a charm.
