Titleist Sand Wedge mid 70's

    I bought a set of Model 90 Titleist irons in the mid 70's from the importer in the UK. The attached photo shows the sand wedge that came with the set. It has no model name or number but I am sure it was a genuine club. Would Titleist have some more information over this club. maybe it was a prototype or promotional item. it works very well and still using it after 44 years. Thank you for any background info.

    The way I remember things, most club manufacturers created a sand wedge option for their sets. Wilson had the monopoly on specialty wedges until Roger Cleveland came along and then almost everyone put his wedges in their bag. Next came Bob Vokey who took it to a whole other level. Not surprised to see this wedge as part of a matched set.
