Driver impact sound.

    I have two Titleist drivers, exactly the same. The only difference is the shaft. Both are R. They sound different at impact. Is that a result of the shaft difference?

    Hmmm. Have a TS-2 and a TS-1 and I don’t notice much of a difference. I do notice other brands don’t sound as good

    The different shafts may be causing contact to be in a slightly different spot on the face, thus the different sound.

    Switch the shafts and hit again. If you get the same sounds, it’s the shafts. If you get the opposite sounds, it’s the heads.

    Check the weights are tight in the heads , found mine was slightly loose the other day and that made a difference to the sound

    Ha, for the first time ever, a couple of days ago, my 5 wood head came loose. Make sure you tighten the screw.
