  1. You used to provide finish options on your irons - chrome or satin. Now only a select few are offered with satin finishes. Check out your website and you will notice all of your irons are shown with a satin finish...no chrome pictures. Show what you ship, or ship what you show. As you can tell I'm a satin finish lover. I've had many Titleist iron setups, never one in chrome.

Just my preference. I do find your website misleading.

While I understand and respect the OP's point, this response is hilarious and so very true.
  4. Why? A new set of T-100s are hardly a $5.00 decision.

Oh come on, he just means that the difference between what’s advertised and delivered happens there too. You’re promised a burger the size of a house brick but you open the box and ...2 day old roadkill between two soggy slices of bun.

Yeah, just a joke about whats advertised vs what you get.

In all seriousness though lighting, backgrounds, lenses etc will always make the subject of a picture look at the very least slightly different than in person. I havent seen any marketing materials that specifically state the finish of the irons.

As you said this isnt just a $5.00 purchase. It is an investment and based on a lot of posts on the forum i think most will agree that everyone is better served with getting fitted or at the very least seeing/holding the club in person before buying. In which case you would be able to see the iron before purchasing.
  7. Just saw the new T200 TV ads, all clubs shown are satin- retail are chrome. Titleist - if you prefer the satin finish as much as many of us do, then offer them. Again, your ad is very misleading.
  8. You see that is a lot could depend on you finish. That's why it is always important to notice the weather and finish matching. I've read a lot about different metals behavior in various weather and wrote everything here studymoose.com/technology .

I am curios to see if they are offered in black as well, but a satin finish is always preferred. I don't remember them offering a different finish on the AP2's so I doubt they will be available in the satin.
  10. additionally, in these kind of shoots the focus area of the picture is going to be lit up pretty good. the picture quality of the chrome without touchups done to the pictures to reduce the glare would be absolutely awful. No one is trying to mislead the consumer
