I'm wondering if anyone is gaming the TS-3 5wood, and what their thoughts are on it.I'm starting to look for a replacement for an old TM 16.5 V-steel fairway wood, that I love, but is showing it's age.The head size of my TM fairway is small, which is why I'm leaning toward the 18 degree (I'll dial it back to 16.5 or 17) as opposed to the TS-3 16.5.Shaft choice will probably be the Evenflow white 1100, or the Hazardous smoke.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Do note the loft options are -0.75 - + 1.5 degrees, so the 18 (5W) can be 17.25-19.5. The 16.5 would otherwise be called a 4 wood and can be dialed from 15.75 to 18 degrees.

Hi, I am playing the TS3 15&18 degrees with Smoke shaft.
I loved both of them. I used more the 5 wood.
It has a very nice high ball and very good distance.

The choice between 16 and 18 degrees depend on what your looking for distance.
Both of them are excellent choice.

You must take in consideration that if you reduce loft on 18, the head will be open by .75 degree.. if you want to play a 16.5 degrees, I would choose the 4 wood.

Also, the choice of shaft is a major point. For me the Smoke was an easy choice after a good fitting.

    Best regards,
  5. I have a TS2 18* 5W. I love the club, but it's getting replaced this year. The only non-Titleist club I have in my bag is 3W and I'm replacing my 5W for a TS3 3W. I'm just filling my gaps in better this year.

    I play a TS3 4 wood 16.5° with an EvenFlow T1100 X stiff shaft which sits between my TS4 driver 9.5° and my 816 H2 21°.

It's the most versatile club in my bag for several reasons; I can play it from the tee 260+ yds and from the fairway/light rough on long holes whilst being able to adjust the loft 16.5°-17.25°-18° and between standard lie - .75 flat.

Both the TS3 4 wood and 5 wood are a quality addition to sit between your driver and next lofted club.

Thanks Lefty. My set up is a little unique. I play a relatively short 9 hole course, and hardly ever hit driver. My go to club is a 13.5 degree 910F with Project X 8C4 shaft. I hit it everywhere but mostly off the tee.Aside from the TM 16.5 I'm looking to replace, the next nearest club in loft is the 818H2 21 degree (set at 22).

I'm going to end up with another fairway wood and will set it somewhere around 17 degrees. The question I'm struggling with; do i get the 16.5 fairway, which has a bigger head, or the 18 fairway which has slightly less mass.

Just put in a TS3 18 degree with the Fujikura Air Speeder shaft. Reg flex. C2 Great off the deck and tee.
