  1. I am installing new shafts in my TS3's. I am planning to put in Fujikura Pro 2.0 Tour Spec shafts, 6S in driver and 7S in 3 wood. I want to play both clubs at standard length (Driver 45.5" and 3 wood 43"). Should I tip the shafts at all? If i ordered these clubs directly from Titleist how would they tip and butt cut the shafts to play standard length? I also might use the Fujikura Ventus Blue w/ Velocore 6S in Driver and Ventus Blue w/ Velocore 7S in 3 wood, so have the same question with this shaft. Thanks.

All shafts come with recommended tipping guide on how much to cut for each club. As for lengths after tipped, a fitting would help. I have my driver at 44.5, gives me better control and narrower dispersion versus 8 more yards and wider dispersion. Hope this helps
  5. As far as I know all shafts start at 46" and are cut from the grip end of the shaft unless otherwise noted to "tip"the shaft. Tipping will increase the stiffness of the shaft and isn't a common thing for common golfers to even think about. If a player is borderline between say stiff and extra stiff with about 105mph clubspeed i would consider tipping a stiff flex if he wasn't able to handle the extra stiff (usually leaving the ball out to the right) - some shafts have inherently stiffer tips such as the Ventus - so that same player that was borderline might be perfect in a standard Ventus Stiff - no tipping required.
