  1. Currently I am gaming the Titleist 714 AP2 with a KBS Tour regular shaft. In the last 2 seasons i have broken 3 clubs of my set, 5,6,8 iron. All the clubs broke at the same spot and the shots when the clubs broke where at a driving range and fairway. I had to pay every time for the reperation, is anyone else also have those experiences?

Considering there have been three models released since the 714, I'd say they have held up pretty well, especially if you have played frequently with them over these past 6+ years. So many factors could be contributing to your situation. You say it has happened at a driving range. That's the most frequent play where clubs break. The combination of the hard balls and the cement under mats take their toll on a club, especially if you have a steep swing and hit down with lots of speed. Also, did you get them new from a Titlist distributor? The shaft combination is not what would have been on the shelf at a retail outlet so they were either special order from Titleist or a third party did the shafts. If a third party, they may have done something wrong. Also, did the shaft break or did the epoxy give way. Sometimes old clubs that have been left in the heat of a garage fail due to the epoxy breaking down from excessive heat. If the heads are separating at the shaft due to epoxy failure, you should take the entire set and have them re-glued. Anyway, a few thoughts given the limited information on your situation.
