  1. I may have posted this once before but can not find it in the forums so I will post again. Just upgraded from AP1 714s to 718's in December. The 718's have a much more pronounced under cut cavity than the 714's did. I live in New England and my irons have a tendency to get dirty given the climate up here so I have to clean them often. The 714's were pretty easy to clean. The 718's look like they are going to be very hard to clean given the undercut cavity and the dirt and moisture that could accumulate in there. I did hear that you should not submerge them in an iron washer because of the moisture residue that may remain in the cavity and rust the iron. Any suggestions out there on what to use to clean dirt etc out of the cavity of the AP1 718's? Thanks

I had a set of cally iE1s a few years ago, and they had an undercut that was difficult to clean. It was a bit of a pain having to use a corner of a towel to squeeze in there to dry out the channel completely, but It is worth it!
