Titleist fitting day here at PGA Golf Club tomorrow March 19th with Bob Keleher. Don't know why it took this long but it's here. Anxious to try the new offerings for 2020. Will let you know how it goes. I'm first up at 10am.

I had a fitting with Bob a couple years ago at Sleepy Hollow country club. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job fitting me. It was a wonderful experience. Keep an open mind and enjoy! I’m looking forward to going for a fitting for some new SM8’s once fitting days start up here in NY again. Who knows when that will be now, unfortunately.

Well here it is. I liked the T-300 much better than the T-400. Better ball flight and feel. Disappointed with the Driver fitting. Bob is a nice guy but I felt confused with all the variations that he threw at me. There was one setup that I liked, but at the end I couldn't remember which, with all the constant heads, settings, shafts and backweight changes we were going thru. I hope we can get together again because I would like to start from scratch on this. I don't want to plunk down $500.00 on a golf club unless feel 100% in on it.

I’ve had fitters tell me that you shouldn’t necessarily go for a full bag fitting in one day or get fitted for multiple clubs in one day. For example, focus solely on the irons one day, wedges another day, driver and so on... You can get overwhelmed by it all and tired out from hitting too many shots in a short period of time.

Actually, I used the Irons mostly for warming up. The bulk of the 45 minutes was used strictly for the driver.

Frank...what about the T400's did you dislike? I heard they are forged-face.

I didn't like the feel of the T-400's as compared to the T-300's. The 400's had a harder feel. Also the 300's had a higher ball flight which I prefer.
