  1. I’m currently playing Titleist Forged 755’s. I’m curious what sets of irons in recent years would be the most comparable to them?

  2. IDK, however switched from JPX 900 tours to the new T100 irons, had them bent to the JPX specs and love them. I had the AMT shafts in JPX and bought the T100 with the AMT tour white shaft (same shaft). The T100 launches slightly higher, I can still work the ball the same, with improved forgiveness, I'm extremely glad I made the switch

Awesome man, those clubs are sick!! I bet that the most similar club to those is the 620 CB irons. Pretty similar head shape and what not.

I used to play the 755 forged irons back between '08 and '11. (I was a 12 handicap back then.) Loved those irons. When I went to something newer, it was an AP2 712. Then an AP2 716 and most recently I switched to a T200 set. (4.8 index now.) I was actually torn between the T100 and T200. The T100 was very similar to my AP2s and I loved their look and feel when I got fit. The fitter felt I hit them both well and that I'd be fine with either. Whichever I liked more. I was leaning T100, but then he said at my age (over 60) the extra distance in the T200 would probably be more appreciated in the coming years. So I went with them. Looking down at address, I can barely see any difference between the T100 and T200. Only the blade length is very slightly longer, though it's not obvious at address. I considered a T100/T200 combo set, but had problems with gapping in the past with an AP2/AP3 combo set I put together last year. I didn't want to have to deal with the same issue again. So I went with all T200 for the extra forgiveness in the long irons. Had I known the new T100•S version was going to launch a few months later, I would have surely waited for them. As of now, I am considering buying a T100•S PW, 9i and 8i to combine with my T200 7, 6 5 and 4. Psychologically, I think I will feel more accurate and confident standing over the ball with the more compact head in the shorter, scoring clubs. Yet, having the forgiveness of the T200 in the longer ones would also be nice.

So, to answer your question, I would say that AP2 712s/714s/716s/718s, T100s, T100•S, or the T200s would all be a comfortable move for you, coming from your 755s. They will all feel better than what you are used to. Only the older AP2 710s might be less forgiving (but still a good iron).
