Based on your pictures it's difficult to really see anything that screams out "fake" and for what it's worth the serial number on my 718s is also very smooth.

Look the same as mine usually you can tell a fake because there's a fair few differences, like finish and head size.

They look just like mine, I have tried to included a photo, sorry its the only one I have of my gear but hope it helps.

Have you called Titleist and asked them to confirm the serial number? I almost never buy anything used, and if I do it will be from a large dealer. However, before I do, I always check with the manufacturer if the serial numbers are legit.

A couple of issues with that... (1) Titleist only registers the serial numbers to a buyer if you go to the site and register it yourself. See the link under Customer Service. (2) a good counterfeiter can easily add a serial number and if it just so happens to be a number no one registered, you wouldn't know. All the serial number will do for you is help you track your own clubs for warranty or proof of purchase if stolen and you need to verify to the insurance company. The best way to know you are getting a legitimate set is to buy from an authorized dealer or used from someone you trust. There are not a ton of fakes out there so most people should feel safe that what they are getting are authentic.

Yes they finally got back to me and confirmed the serial number matches the club set specs and included irons.
