  1. Just looking for advice. I just took up golfing, and I’m 37 years old. So I am rookie at all of this. Any advice on a good club set. Right now I am piecing together things here and there, but I hope soon to invest in a whole set. I’m 6 2” and right handed.

I have the Cleveland CG16 irons. I think they are from like 2011. I managed to find them used at a local golf shop for $130. I assume you would be able to find them no more than $150 used on a place like eBay. I personally like them, as the weight is low on the face. The have a higher ball flight and pretty forgiving. The only thing that might push some people away is the extremely thick top line, which I like because it inspires confidence that the club won't dig and that the sweet spot is easier to hit.

BK, welcome to the game! Nothing wrong with starting out with something used as you start to develop your game. Being true Team Titleist, we would love to see you select some Titleist equipment. My recommendation would be to start by finding a local pro who can help you with building good fundamentals, a key to making progress and getting the most out of your development. That same pro can help you with equipment fitting and/or get you with a fitter who can better match your swing to the clubs that will work best for you. Enjoy this great game. Hit’m straight and stay safe.

There are multiple factors that define correct fitting clubs, so the odds of finding a correct fitting set of used clubs is low. My suggestion is take incremental steps towards purchasing a new set of clubs. The first step I recommend is taking some lessons. Find a good instructor near you (talk with friends, family, etc...for a recommendation). Then once your swing is fairly consistent get fit for a new set of clubs (talk with your instructor about timing on getting new clubs). As with an instructor, find a good fitter near you that can get you setup correctly with new clubs (a lot of instructors are also club fitters).
Getting to the point of playing decent golf is a process. Do it correctly and you will see improvement over time and be hooked on this great game. Do it incorrectly and you will struggle, get frustrated, and may quit playing.
I wish you nothing but success as you begin your journey in this great game.

AP1 of the 714 or 716 series are reasonably priced and offer forgiveness, not to exclude the 718's. Sites that guaranty authenticity include 2nd Swing, Global Golf, and Dallas Golf. This not exhaustive, but sites that ship into the US generally shipping counterfeits and there is no guaranty small sellers can make on authenticity. The best investment you can get to find a local pro for training and advice on equipment - what to purchase and what may fit your swing, and recommend when to get fit for newer equipment. Not being a PGA pro, I managed to teach myself just about all the bad swing tips out there and have spent years fighting those demons.
