I’ve been playing a full bag of Titleist since the 712 AP2s and 913 metals, about early 2013. I skipped the 716 AP2s and 917 metals, as I was enjoying the 714 AP2s and 915 metals so much, and hitting them good.

After 9 months of T100 ownership, on Saturday I bit the bullet and ordered a new blended set. I love the T100 but the loss of distance, from the stamped number on the bottom compared to my previous 718 AP3s was really starting to mess with my head.

With my U510 at 22* already in the bag, I wanted to continue with the forgiveness at the top end, I hit the T100 5 iron & 6 iron OK, but not great hence the blended approach.

    I’ve gone for..........

    T200 5 iron (bent 1* weak) 25* T200 6 iron (bent 1* weak) 28* T100-S 7 iron (standard) 32* (then standard T100-S, 8-GW lofts (36-48) with 4* increments)

With the added bonus a smidge of offset comes off the T200s.

Dropping into my SM8 54D (bent 1* strong to 53), and my SM8 58D (both black)

Can’t wait to get them in play.

Did you try the T100s they have slightly stronger lofts
  3. Can't go wrong with a mixed set. Good thing the T100 and T200 have a very similar, almost identical look

I did the same thing, but went 4,5 t200 bent 1* weak, then t100 (was before the t100 s came out) 6-GW, 1* strong. It’s a great blended set. Love the launch of the t200s.
