Old Dead Center putter ?

    G'Day, Any experts have knowledge of a dead center putter ?.... I believe its a "vintage" Looking for input on age ...etc.... found one for sale ... and curious if it should come home ? Thanks n cheers Baz

    I think most of them were produced in the 70's, maybe going into the early 80's. My buddy still uses one. There were a few different models out there. I noted the other day that Dustin Johnson has switched to a new putter from the company that sponsor's him and it was almost a carbon copy of the old Titleist Dead Center putter. There are several out there in circulation, seen them on ebay occasionally. If you like collecting Titleist stuff, probably a nice add to your collection.

    Thanks for the reply and info.
    Its an SP 747 if that makes any difference, probably not..lol.
    But its a nice oldie.... I plan to restore it, see how it rolls...
