Graphite replacement for Reg NSPro 970 shafts

    Hi, I am in my 60s and suffer from golfers elbow when I play more than once a week. I am looking for a graphite replacement shaft for my AP1s. Need something that has a similar weight. Tried lighter graphite and cannot get use to it. What would you recommend that has a similar weight, spin, and launch?

    The graphite mid-high to high launch shafts are in the 60-70 g range from your 90-100 g range for the NS 970. You may want to work with a Titleist Thursday and decide how to get a lighter graphite shaft to work for you. Then decide if you should upgrade irons or just that shaft in your AP1. There was a heavier graphite shaft in the 85 g range but it was a definite mid launch shaft over the higher launching 65 g version. If you do re-shaft, consider adjusting the swing weight to keep the balance of the NS 970.

    Thanks, I Also have a set of AP1714s with the kk65 shafts and they just dont work for me. Agree that I may have to go to a heavier shaft that has a lower launch. Until I find something I will continue with my old 710s and Nippon shafts. I was fitted into some AP2s in 2014 with steel shafts but they couldn’t kick the old 710s out of the bag.
