Interested to hear if anyone has played previous mondels of the cncpt irons. I woudl appreciate any thoughts, feedback and value behind purchasing such a premium priced set of irons. On face value, I really don't like the strong lofts in the specs.

I have had the C16s with PXI 5.5s for three years. They are great clubs, easy to hit and very forgiving. I am curious how much Tungsten is in each of my irons as there seems to be a lot in the 2020 versions. TT can you please let me know? Looking forward to a fitting in the next month to try these and the new driver

There must be a couple of TT members who have played the CP-01 & CP-02, however, I guess that not that many TT members have played CP-03 and CP-04.

Having said that, I'm looking forward to learning more about the CNCPT family. With that price tag, I'd like to know more about the R&D behind them.

I'm not aware of any pro using CNCPT irons. These are tailored for amateurs. So the 620 series and the more traditional lofts are for those better players that distance is less important than control. What I expect from CNCPT 4 is what I find in the T400. The number on the club is not as relevant as the response. While the 7 iron less lofted than the T300 5 iron, I still get higher launch, longer distance, and better stopping power with a steeper descent. But launch and distance are my struggles.

I'm willing to trial the CNCPT-4. If feel, launch, and distance exceed the T-400 to my enjoyment, I'll consider a purchase. But there's no way to try to compare $500 vs $175 on a value basis.

These look absolutely amazing and the science behind these irons looks fantastic but can the price be justified
  7. Are these irons going to replace the T series irons?

No. Engineering that is positive in the CNCPT irons may filter down to mainstream irons. T series is not an advancement of AP design as much as derived from earlier CNCPT irons. The amount of tungsten and the "super metal" face may not make it down to the T series just due to manufacturing cost.

Titleist UK & Ireland can the price of the CNCPT irons be justified of are they a game changer. All I know is that they are well out of my price range so I will never be able to answer the question unless Titleist would like to send me a set 1.5” longer than standard, 1 deg upright and midsized grips to test and review.

Love the request. Did you have any better luck offering to test a Bentley Mussane? The answer to any question not asked is always no.

Can a 5K euro/sterling Trek bike be justified over a 2.5 K Trek bike (or my 100 euro Schwinn)?

All depends on your value set. It's just not a price comparison.

    You've brightened my day. ;-)

I've had a set of CNCPT-02s in the bag for just over a year. They replaced my last set of 718MBs. They look very similar at address, they are just as workable as the MBs and are much more forgiving.
  12. I just ordered the 2020 CNCPT-03 Irons, moving from PXG Gen 3. I did a fitting at TXG in Toronto and tested all similar models and the launch off the face was the highest with spin rates in my optimal window. I can’t believe how tight the dispersion was on these irons, so easy to hit with the exact same trajectory and shot shape, this will improve greens in reg for sure. Went with the Recoil 95 Stiff shafts, have played them before and they are very smooth.
