  1. Hello TT friends,

I found a few older threads around release cycles, but I didn’t quite find what I was looking for. With the current T series irons being roughly a year old, when can one expect the next generation of irons to be released?

Are metal woods and irons still on an alternate year release, meaning that the new TSi woods for 2021 (released in 2020) would have an iron released in 2021 for 2022? Or, has this changed with the Titleist Speed project over the past several years?

Basically, I’m eager to get fit into Titleist irons, but I’d love to wait for the most up to date model if they’ll be out soon. Thanks!

In roughly a year as you noticed. Titleist generally uses 2 year cycles for products. Balls and clubs alike. The woods and the Pro-V's are a little late on tour seeding this year. The CNCPTs have their own cycle and were just released.

The one apparent change is hybrids. The TS will continue as they are being re-synched with irons on the next iron release. The 816/818 were with irons, the TS moved to woods, and the next hybrids will be back with irons next season.

Yes woods & irons are still on the alternating year release cycle, so next iron release should be fall of 2021.

If the current pattern holds you will likely see new irons next fall (2021) along with hybrids and utilities. Since the T series was just released, I would not expect dramatic changes from the current models.

I believe fall 2021 for new irons and hybrids.
  6. Thank you, gents. Much appreciated. I guess I need to book my fitting!

Irons and Hybrids are released together on opposite years from drivers and fairways. Both have a 2 years cycle. Drivers and fairways this year, irons and hybrids will be next year. Releases are usually in the fall with Tour seeding early to mid summer.

The rumours are that Titleist are possibly going to release 2 new irons in March 2021 with stronger lofts. I am interested to see what they are going to bring out. I know that I would love to upgrade my current irons 718 AP1’s. I would love to trial these out.

Maybe they will be available for us to hit at the TT event in September? =)
