Has anyone regretted getting the irons they have. I went from AP2 716 to T200 irons this time last year it was a toss up against the T100 irons. There wasn’t much difference in feel or performance between them but I went for for the extra distance of the T200. Although I’m relatively happy with them, I wish that the T100S were available at the time as I feel they would of been the perfect upgrade from the AP2’s. Obviously I’m not going to change my irons mainly due to cost. But I just wish Titleist put a bit more thought into it when releasing their irons. They did the same with the T400. They’re not cheap.

I have said the same thing a number of times on these threads. I too came from AP2-716 irons. I was on the fence between T100 and T200. Went with T200 and found out shortly thereafter that the s version was going to be released. Oh, well. I am going to switch to the T100-S in my shorter irons this winter, but will stick with the T200s in my longer ones.
  3. After being a die hard miz player for the past 20 some odd years, it took one heck of a club to change me and that was the T200's. No regrets whatsoever.

I have always been happy with my fittings and my purchase. I have always tried every set up in the inventory and got the right shaft and head for me. Wish I had the game for a forged club. I love my T300s and they are perfect for a senior at 74. Less work for the distance and accuracy you get. Remembering, also it is primarily the indian, not the arrow. Am thankful I have a great instructor. Never too old to get help......

T100s came about because people were getting fitted in to the T100 with weaker lofts. Titleist saw a need after a while and filled it.

I don't upgrade very often Totally satisfied with my 718 AP2s. Having the latest greatest set like the Tour players have can get really expensive. I'd rather spend it on greens fees.

I’m in the same boat but I will probably swap out my 6-GW this fall. I like my T200’s but like the feel much better on the T100s.

I couldn't agree more. I am currently playing AP3s, and I am not planning on changing my irons anytime soon.
  9. Went from AP2 to T100
Then the T100s came along which would have been my preference
May look again to change in the Spring

I think there is always a little buyer's remorse when we have to drop this kind of money for any club(s). I haven't been fitted for the new irons, but sometimes I wonder if I would have enjoyed the AP3s more than the AP1s, it was a toss up on the numbers, I went for the added distance.

I'll probably feel the same way this spring, thinking about getting fit for the T series irons.

You could say the same for later releases of black iron heads. The TSi -2 and -3 will fit the majority of the market, but if the TS-1 and TS-4 were your preferred items, you may want to wait until Spring 2021 to see if they get TSi versions.
  12. When i got my T100 irons i ordered them 2* strong, (before the T100S was even an option) this was purely a trajectory control reason and to blend into my preferred wedge lofts better. Perhaps some distance was gained, but marginal at best. The T200 is a solid iron and as long as you are satisfied with them, I wouldn't give it a second thought. There will always be the next latest and greatest and some companies have a much faster product turnover than Titleist and their 2 year product cycle. They have expanded their lines during a current cycle with the S or the 400 or TS1 and TS4, black finishes etc. But i would go back and focus on what you liked about the T200 and play them with confidence that you have a good club. They are a solid iron and still a full club longer than my T100's even with the stronger lofts.
  13. I was recently fitted for the CBs in Sept. Then had a chance to hit the CNCPT 03 irons, and they were amazing. So now I may piece them in, starting with the 4 iron. Seeing the CNCPT 03 was so much better than the CB, MB or even T100, or T100s in my book. Also at $500 a club, it will be a painfully slow process to get a blended set of 4, 5 6, CNCPT 03, and 7, 8, 9 620CB.

I just got my new set; ts3 driver/wood/hybrid, t100s 4-pw, vokey 56/60 and am extremly happy with them. However with all the new "innovative" tech and designs coming out every year of two its hard not to have some buyers regret.

I just remind myself I'm lucky to have what have, no matter how good looking or shiny the new CNCPT & TSi line up might be.

(I have to remind myself constantly lol)

    HI TT Peeps -

Im playing the AP3 irons currently but because of a shoulder and neck surgery I need to switch to weaker shafts, prob graphite. I played AP2 irons for 12 years and CB before that. I like the look of a smaller blade. I dont quite get the lineup of the new T series irons. What is the AP@ and AP3 equivalent in the T Series? The AP3 irons feel like I'mn hitting rocks (ProV1x).

I'll get fitted but just looking for others opinions before I get fitted.

    Thanks

Still gaming my 716 AP1's. I signed up for a demo day at the club in November. 45 minutes for a fitting for T-300's and the TS2 Hybrid. I'll see how it goes and take it from there.
