  1. What would be the best set of golf clubs to use for a 10 handicap person?

I would suggest go to a PGA Pro and get fitted given your handicap.

I would try the Titleist Driver selection tool and The Iron selection tool that are on the web site as a starter,or if there is a Titleist Thursday in your local area you can get fitted for what you need at no cost to you..
  4. Steve E, thanks for advice.
  5. Agree with above and would try to find a local pro or a Titleist Thursday to get fit. Depending on your ball striking, a 10hdcp could be fit in to several options. Would think, for irons, something a little more forgiving though (not a cb or mb unless ball striking is great). Would look into maybe T100 or T200. Hope this helps.
  6. Seth, have you ever tried to hire golf instructor online? I mean on web resources like Grumpy Gopher ?
  7. I’m a 10 handicap and just had a fitting for Irons. Professional recommended t200 or t300’s. T300’s more forgiving but concerned about distance control

I agree with seeing a golf pro. My setup is what one could call highly unconventional. The reason I use blades for 6-8 irons is I have pretty solid ball striking on the middle and short irons. Blades also work better on golf courses with closely cropped fairways or where course conditions are poor. I've been using 24-27 or 25 for the middle clubs since they are a lot easier to hit vs the longer irons. I also fare better with a 7 wood vs a 19 or 21 hybrid. About a year and a half ago I switched to 70g stiff shafts for the 7 wood through 27H because they keep my ball straighter. Ditto with S300 on the irons. My driver uses 44" Bassara R and the 17F uses Diamana 70 R because they hit better that way. I have a 17g weight on the driver. Since I use oversize grips, Winn Excel RF on all. Oversize on Lamkin or Golf Pride kills swingweight.
