  1. Hello, new member here, I just want your thoughts on the T100s irons, looking to purchase some new titleist irons but can’t decide I’ve tried the cb’s and the Tseries but always seem to go back to the T100s

I have been playing Titleist irons since the 962 came out in 1997. The T100s has the same loft specs as the last set of 962s I was custom fitted for in 1999. I have two sets of the T100s with different Aerotech shafts. I have played the latest cavity backed iron from Titleist since those 962s (which I still have). Last year I took to the range an assortment of 962s, 704s, every AP2 model through the 718, most with the same shafts. The T100s won and I even was able to get friends sets of T100, T200 and T300. The best of its type of iron that Titleist has made. FOR ME!

I love my T100-S irons. The perfect club, and such a weapon on the course.

Never played the T100s myself, but I hit some T200s at the pro shop and they felt really good. If you’ve had players irons before and hit them well, I doubt you can go wrong with the T100s. I’d suggest the T100S!
  5. I have not hit the T100s, but I do have the T100 and I love them. They have a great feel to them and they were easy to get used to coming from the AP2’s. I prefer the more traditional lofts, but I would love to have the black finish they put on the T100s.

Welcome Andrew and hope you find the forum informational and enjoyable. As for club selection, go with what feels best to you, preferably utilizing a professional fitter to help with your selection and specifics that best match your swing. That’s one of the great things about Titleist, they have multiple models that fit a wide range of player’s needs. I would never suggest someone go with the highest seller or our most popular choice for fear that it might not be right for you. Good luck and looking forward to seeing future posts.

I just got mine. Five rounds under my belt and I have to say, I really really like them. Get fitted for the correct shaft and it's full speed ahead!
  8. I was recently fitted and torn between the CB and T100 as well. I play off a 3 hdcp. After the fitting, the response I got from the T100s were spectacular. The technology built in gave me about 5-10 yards distance over the CBs and the dispersion / workability for me were essentially the same.

I've had my T100 about 2 weeks now and absolutely no regrets. Also play with a guy that recently switched from CBs to the T100s and he is not looking back.

But, with that being said, getting fitted is the best idea.

Finally upgraded to T100 from AP2 714. Didn't think I could possibly love an iron more than my trusty AP2's, but these things are phenomenal. Really no difference in yardages (as they are the same lofts), other than a couple extra yards in the longer clubs because of the lighter shafts I assume (Dynamic Gold in the old clubs, vs AMT White in the new ones). The sound and feel is great... and because of the less offset (and possibly tungsten distribution), the ball flight has evolved from about a 10-15 foot draw to a bleeding fade, which is ideal IMO. The leading edge feels great going through the turf and it's very easy to flight the ball down when desired. All in all, a great set of irons for the advanced player.
  10. I purchased the T100s irons in November of this year and they are so smooth. Both feel and control are fantastic.

Andrew, welcome to TT. I recently changed irons. I changed from 718 AP2s to the new T100S irons. The T100S irons gave me 10 extra yards through the bag. However, the feel of the club is what set the T100S above. I was torn between the 620 CBs or these. The CBs felt slightly better but mishits were more unforgiving. Ball speed was higher on the T100S set. Visually a beautiful club!!! Good Luck and hit them well.
