Just demoed(?) the TSi 1 and TSi 4 Drivers, Fairway Woods and Hybrids. The Titleist Engineers, designers, ambassadors, the people on Team Titleist, should be commended on the results of their efforts in the new TSi series. These new clubs are sweet, offer incredible playability and enhanced speed and forgiveness. Game Changers!!

The new Aldila 40/50 gram shafts are available in an R2 (Senior) flex and Reg flex.

I would be interested to hear your take on the TSi1. Recently switched from TS2 to a TS1 after shoulder problems and loss of clubhead speed. The change was positive for me. Much better launch, distance and control. I saw the email for the release of the TSi1 this morning and fighting the urge to order one.

If you could, I would try the TSi1 and the Aldila shaft. I did not get as much distance vs my TS3 with a Senior shaft but the dispersion was better. Was not able to get the TSi4 to cooperate. Hopefully your shoulder will get better.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping with time and recovery from surgery it will improve and be able to go back to standard weight clubheads and shafts. Surgeon said it would take a year to see. In the meantime these lightweight options have been a blessing. I have ordered the TSi1 hybrids and getting ready to pull the trigger for the driver as well.

I picked up the TSi4 8 degree driver with the Hzrdus Yellow 60 gram stiff shaft and have played 2 rounds with it. I have played the png G425 Max and cally Epic Max LS the last 3 weeks and now the TSi4 this weekend and the TSi4 is easier to control, longer, and not much loss on mishits. I have the TS4 8.5 degree and this is a big change over it. The ball flight for me is more of an out and up versus the up and out on my TS4, the png, or the cally. The roll out was super impressive. I don't have particularly fast club head speed but have an upright swing and this club/shaft combination really helps keep the flight down.

I really like the sound of this driver as it's more muted and solid sounding. In both rounds this weekend I was hitting at least 1 club less into the par fours.

I'm looking forward to playing some more rounds to see if it will perform better with a slight Surefit adjustment.

TSi1 20* hybrid just got delivered. Looks nice coming out of the box. The head is a little bigger than the 915Hd I've been using, but I have to say I like the look of a slightly taller face and larger footprint. Can't wait to get out and give it a go. Interested to see how it compares to a five year old model.

Ordered TSi2 21* 4 hybrid and TSi2 24* 5 hybrid yesterday. Played with the clubs 5 hybrid and was very happy with high flight and feel. Big upgrade from my 915h 3 and 4 hybrids. Hats off to Titleist for continuing to produce superior golf products. As my Pro said “you earned it!”

  8. What characteristics caused Titleist to move to the Aldila shaft (40g R) from the Fujikura Air Speeder (40g R). I ordered my TSi2 in Jan and was fitted with the Fuji. When I had my Feb fitting with Titleist for a hybrid the Aldila replaced the Fuji.
  9. I literally just started a thread about this same thing. Hurt my shoulder and switched Drivers from TS2 to TS1, but seems i lost distance from doing so..
