I wonder is large amount of orders have been influenced quality of custom orders. I ordered 716MBs 4 years ago as a custom order and everything lofts, swing weights etc. were spot on. About a 3 months ago I ordered 620MBs to replace my old 716s. When I received my clubs 2 monts ago they were at first look with wrong grips (I ordered them TV 360 black but delevered those std. white/black flat caps). Then checked lofts and swinweights, both were little off. Swingweights were higher than ordered (I dont know how big tolerances they have) but 1.5 of some clubs were significantly heavier. Some lofts were ok, but some were 1-2 degrees off. Also 9 iron felt strange compared to PW and when weighted it total weight was heavier than PW. So new clubs were a huge disappoinment to me. I didnt got any check list (which I believe they deliver with custom order clubs, or at least I have got with all my earlier clubs) from Titleist. I believe that I just got some stock set instead of custom set.

I send this same explanation to their custom order customer service e-mail. They reply that they could check order and send a check list when I send a serial number. I did that and got reply that they have large amount of orders so answering might take a while. I waited 2 weeks with no answer, then I send a message again and now I have waited 3 weeks with no answer.

As a conclusion I play still with my 716s. I have tried to play 3-4 times with 620s but allways I have returned them to carage corner. I would like to love my new 620s but overall old 716s feels better quality set and at least it feels like a set, not a bunch of individual clubs.

Has anyone else have samekind of problems or is there any titleist staff who could give an answer to my questions?

Do Titleist use tip weights on their shafts? Because if they use it could be a way to build a set completely again to a correct swingweights. Counter balancing is another option but it will increase total weight of clubs.

Customer Service contact information is at the bottom of the website. Allows you to email but under Warranty and Repair there is also a phone number where you should be able to speck to a representative. Also, I take it you are from Oulu Finland? Not sure where your set would have been assembled from? Probably not the USA factory.
