  1. I recently purchased an uncut Project x t1100 75g 6.0 wood shaft to put in a TS2 5 wood. I’m trying emulate my TS2 3 wood with same shaft which I love. Can anyone tell me how much Titleist tipped this shaft in the TS2 fairway woods?

  2. I actually did the same thing except I did not tip the club at all. I had it cut on the butt end to give me the length of club I was looking for (42.5") and I ended up with perfect results. I get the same boring/piercing trajectory with about 245 carry and I couldn't be any happier. If you're wanting to stiffen it up a bit, you could try 1" tipping but I would look to trim from the butt end if you're looking to keep a similar kick as you receive in your 3wood.

You should check with Project X. I think they recommend 1/2" tipping for 3 wood and 1" for 5 wood. Not sure where you got the 3 wood but if it was setup as standard I would venture to guess they followed the Project X tipping instructions.
