    Hi,

When ordering clubs with lenght modification direct from Titleist, do they change the swingweight by automatic or is this something that need to be specified to get done?

    Best regards

  2. I don't think you need to do anything. My fitter gave me my spec sheet and he didn't specify anything and he told me my order was delayed because they were waiting on lighter iron (T300) heads. I have +1" clubs so presumably the lighter heads account for keeping the swingweight at regular D1. I assume they tip weight or use heavier heads if you go shorter than regular spec.

They will take care of it if ordered from Titleist. My T200 irons came from Titleist 1/2" longer & 2 degrees up and my swing weights are just fine. same for my Vokey wedges & my U-510 utility Iron..

    Hope this helps you,

Hello again, Its maybe different if ordering thru a fitter becuse I just got information from my dealer (where I ordered extended clubs without custom fitting) that they dident thought there was any difference more than shaft-lenght if no comment was left at the ordering time to adjust swing weight. Would be good with a answer from a Titlest support on this question.
  5. Ok guys you may , Want to hear this. I’ve been playing Titleist irons over 20 years .The last set of irons I was playing was 914 ap2 irons. Great iron but had to bend them slightly to Get some distance out of the long irons. The new Titleist 2021 t100s Are by far the best Titleist iron that I’ve ever felt. There’s no doubt the pros are playing These on tour and not saying anything. I’m a two handicap my set up is Aerotek I 95 shaft with these irons. I’ve been playing Aerotek from the beginning at least 10 years.Way to go Titleist you came through I’ve been waiting for an iron like this.

Unless you have asked for a specific swing weight, they will try to get them back to the "standard" swing weight.

I asked a Titleist store yesterday and they confirmed that Titlest try to get them back to standard swing weight even if changing lenght.

Titleist will adjust swing weight for under/over length only if you specify when ordering. Ordering other than standard length clubs could be the desire for a lower or higher than standard swing weight, so they have to assume the person ordering is aware of the effect on swing weight. Specifying desired swing weight- whether standard or a specific swing weight will ensure you get what you want and if they can't meet your desired swing weight they will advise before building.
