AP3 v T100 or T100s

    I currently play AP3s In the period of having them I have dropped from a 13 handicap to 8. To be honest I’m not in the position to drop £1,000+ on a new set of irons, besides I’m happy with the longer AP3s for now. However, thinking about slotting in 9 and P or perhaps 8, 9 or P to the bottom of the bag. Question is, will advances in technology mean that the T100 will slot in nicely or will the stronger (although more lofted than AP3) T100s be required to maintain the gapping? I’m going for a fitting on Monday but wondered what people have found from transitioning from the AP3s into newer sets.

    I'd consider looking at T100S and/or T200 options. I used to play a AP2/AP3 combo set and needed to play both model 7 irons to cover the gap between the AP3 6 iron and AP2 8 iron. Now, a T100s/T200 combo set is perfect.
