  1. Is it still worth buying 718 AP1 or AP3 in 2022, price is around USD$400 (used)? Was playing with Cobra SZ one length and XXIO MP1000, but prefer to get clubs with graphite shaft.

  2. I’m really pleased with my 718 ap1 set. I wouldn’t hesitate for $400 range at all. Just my opinion. They’re better clubs than I am at playing.
  3. Well, I just bought it after trying various brands and models, AP1 feels easy to hit, and it goes the distance.

I would say that yes, its a better way to go than your existing set but getting fit for such a different change would be recommended, which would put you in the T-series. There are so many graphite choices these days that just ordering a used set with standard graphite might not suite your game. Good luck with it, whatever you choose to do.
  5. Would love to go for a fitting, just that the cost is high in my country, will work for a fitting...

The 718s are a half-decade old. And it shows when it comes to the AP1 and AP3 Irons. The distance and the forgiveness you would get from the T200 or T300 Irons are so much more.

I've been gaming my AP3s since 2018 and I cannot recommend them enough.

Additionally, the 718 AP3s were the first and last AP3s irons of the successful AP-series.

I bought my AP3s early 2019. Love them a lot. I plan to keep them atleast 2 years more. With Titleist, I know that they will last.

I was a bit surprised to learn that Adam S. was playing the same set for a very long time, I believe Titleist just built him the exact same set to his specs just to upgrade, Titleist equipment should last a very long time.

I know a lot of Titleist players who left, but always decide to come back to Titleist for some reason or another, Maybe its because they buy a new set and six months later its being replaced by a new "latest and greatest" model by another company.

Might consider getting a set of T300 2019 model, if saving $$$$ is your primary objective. Great stroke saver. Also recommend as others would go see a Titleist fitter FIRST to get the right shaft and head. It does make a difference and saves you $$$$$$ in the long run.
